- PROTOCOL
- Preferably fast the animal overnight prior to collection.
- Collect 5ml of blood into a plastic EDTA tube.
- Immediately centrifuge the sample and remove the plasma and place equal volumes in two labelled plastic serum tubes and freeze immediately.
- Transport one of these samples frozen (REQUEST PICK UP ON DRY ICE) to the laboratory and keep one sample frozen in case first sample thaws out in transport.
