Dr Walsh graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelors of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2010.

After completing her residency training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2015, she became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in 2015 and began working at IDEXX Laboratories in Brisbane.

Shortly thereafter she returned to Perth as a lecturer at Murdoch University lecturing in general and systemic pathology, in addition to training 5th year veterinary students and pathology residents. Dr Walsh began working at Vetpath in 2017 and maintains close ties with Murdoch University with Adjunct Lecturer status.

Her special interests include: ocular pathology, oncologic surgical pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, collaborative research studies and academic/professional teaching.
