About
Marni graduated from Medical Laboratory Science at RMIT, majoring in Pharmacology and Microbiology. She began her career working at Vetnostics Pathology in Microbiology, Cabrini Hospital in Histopathology, and Monash Medical Centre in the Infectious Diseases Department.
After a 12 month working holiday in Canada, she returned to Vetnostics Pathology in Ballarat. It was there she specialised in Transfusion Medicine and spent the majority of the past 20 years working with the Ballarat Base Hospital to improve transfusion practice in both Medical and Trauma settings. During this time, she also completed a Masters in Biotechnology and Business.
Over the last three years, Marni has also acted as relieving Laboratory Manager for a number of Regional and Metropolitan laboratories in the Dorevitch pathology network. In September 2023, she made the move to Melbourne and Veterinary Pathology to join the Vetnostics Vic team, where she believes her love of animals and pathology will come together.
